Ellipse parameters

Hello for all,

An ellipse is defined by this equation:
ax^2+bxy+cy^2+dx+ey+f=0
I found that:
a=longer axe of ellipse/2
b=shorter axe of ellipse/2
c=sqrt(a^2-b^2)
d=b^2/c
e=c/a
but i didn't found the value of f,if someone know it please help.

There are several definitions for an ellipse
You should use the one that matches the best your application.

The one i prefer is that an ellipse is defined by 2 foci

Please check http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ellipse there is a source code that computes coordinates points for an elipse.
